I just found this quote from Gandhi and I love it.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
When what you do must be in harmony with what you think, your thoughts must be actionable. If you're a skeptic, undecided, without conviction for one set of values or another, you cannot act in harmony with what you think. If you did, you simply wouldn't act. So Gandhi exhorts us to make our minds up, to pick a path. But as logical and ethical certainty are vanishingly rare, he also exhorts us to practice faith when we pick our path.
